More than 100 shooters flocked to Renton Fish & Game Club in Renton, Wash. to shoot the Hand Sized Handgun Championship. They came to celebrate the 2021 season — and find out who is the “top gun” for the year.

Sunny weather, open air shooting, and a colorful cast of characters (including all the ASI leadership) offered a great way to socialize and shoot.

While the HSH is dedicated to the use of the “Hand-Sized” pistol (3.5″ or less barrel), a great many people brought their full-size guns just to join in the fun.

Marcel Engelmaier emerged as overall champion, shooting a red-dot-equipped SIG 365 to win the “Hand Sized” bragging rights. Mike Vadewall finished fourth overall on his road to winning the “ASI” division (where any ASI-legal gun is allowed).

Vendors Rain City Tactical and Taylor Freelance set up their displays, again giving shooters a chance to meet their owners and see products “hands on” in ways that you just can’t do via Zoom!
